Engineer Associate A or Engineer, Traffic
General Statement Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Traffic & Transportation Management, this position plans, directs, performs, or participates in a variety of traffic engineering-related projects and tasks such as traffic signal control system operation, design of traffic signal plans, right-of-way management, specifications and cost estimates, traffic signal system timings, and traffic studies. May work on traffic signal simulation and optimization software, traffic safety improvements, traffic safety awareness campaigns, project management, and spearhead innovations.NOTE: This position may be filled as either Engineer Associate A or Engineer, Traffic, depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and exper
