The District is continuing to recruit for Engineer positions in Environmental Resource Permitting (ERP) on our permit application review and compliance/enforcement teams.

Job Summary:
Entry level to advanced, independent engineering work reviewing permit applications and construction plans/drawings, calculations, data, legal documents, and hydrologic modeling to determine if projects meet the District criteria; preparing technical staff reports and letters; conducting pre-application meetings. Conducting periodic site inspections during and upon completion of project construction; evaluating compliance submittals; reviewing and evaluating monitoring reports; responding to complaints and public information requests pertaining to rule violations; facilitating resolutions of non-compliance issues.
Engineer requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering.
Advance levels require experience in environmental, civil, hydraulic, agricultural or water resource engineering or related field.

Engineer II - $61,193.60 - $76,481.60
Engineer III - $62,961.60 - $81,848.00
Engineer IV - $67,371.20 - $87,568.00
Professional Engineer - $72,072.00 - $93,704.00
Senior Professional Engineer - $77,126.40 - $100,256.00
