Coastal Engineer III
Test coastal and ocean modeling simulations for coastal and waterfront projects, including data collection, mesh development, boundary condition generation, and results analysis. Design coastal structures for shoreline erosion protection and wave attenuation. Develop sea level rise and climate change vulnerability assessments and adaptation plans. Present numerical model results, such as wave force and surge elevation in design activities. Provide project principles recommendations on appropriate technical approaches for coastal and waterfront engineering. Draft reports and posters for coastal engineering and modeling projects. Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Identify schedule and cost variances. 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Moffat
