The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) seeks a Director-Standards and Transit Engineering to lead APTA’s Standards Program and serve as the primary engineering resource within the association.  For standards, the Director will manage the standards-generation process, including oversight of staff and supporting consultants, prioritization of the standards projects, development of metrics to guide the standards program, and interface with the working groups and policy and planning committees involved in generating and maintaining standards.  As the association’s primary engineer, the Director will lead APTA’s rail and bus engineering initiatives.
