Job duties include: Design and review overall project planning, distributing resources, time management, risk management, creating benchmarks, managing the budget, managing staff, and managing relationships with key customers. Ensure that all of the work is done on time and within the projected budget and also need to ensure that the construction project is compliant with current building codes as well as any other legal or regulatory requirements. Plan and direct all activities at construction sites. Monitors and works to ensure construction progresses as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to. Inspects construction site daily and works with contractors to schedule deliveries. Ensures all construction engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Carefully plan out each stage of the project in order to ensure successful completion. Develop detailed project plans and are able to use these as a benchmark to track overall progress. Plan a construction project is one of the main duties of construction Field Engineering managers. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility. Conduct study of traffic or environmental conditions to identify engineering problems and asses potential project impact and must be able to estimate the duration of each step of the project in order to prevent delays due to human error. Create a benchmark to track construction progress and status of the project at all times to measure project performance, to estimate project timeline, budget, and the efficiency of the progress. Perform risk management, which includes identifying and responding to potential issues throughout the life of the project to minimize potential negative impacts and help ensure the safety of the workers. Manage the financial plan and consistently evaluate the project budget. Evaluate and plan effectiveness of hiring and managing staff based on their individual skill sets and overall project goals. Special Requirements include: Knowledge of Engineering + Smart Plan Review (SPR) model / CAD and SQL database for construction progress tracker. Minimum education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Minimum work experience: 60 months in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related field. Travel is required; Areas: Panama City, Florida; Frequency: Four days a month; Nature of Travel: Job site visit and inspection. Salary: $119,538/year.
