Unlimited Services is seeking a qualified hands on Quality Manager to manage and lead projects as well as people. This person would audit processes in accordance with our ISO Quality Management System. This position requires a strong focus on both internal and external quality processes.
Under the direction of the Oconto Operations Manager, the Quality Manager plans and directs all aspects of quality including; process flow, PPAPs and continuous improvement. Leads a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians to ensure all quality projects, initiatives, and processes are achievable and in conformance with organization's established policies and strategic objectives.
The Quality Manager serves as a champion and change agent for quality activities. Meet plant targets relating to waste elimination and improved process flow.
Additional Duties include:
Assist with the development of QMS.
Sustain and enhance ISO certification. Oconto Plant is ISO 2015 certified
Provides daily leadership to the Oconto Quality Team (i.e. setting goals, establishing priorities, managing team performance, resolving conflict)
Serves as a member of the Oconto Operations Management Team, providing input into managerial decisions, commits to the team decisions, and executes the resulting plan and strategies to move the company forward toward completion of its goals
Has a strong external quality focus including some travel to meet with customers
Works closely with the internal audit process, prepares, supervises or approves standard work documents, maintains Master Index
Spanish speaking a plus but not required; will coordinate with Mexico Operations to maintain duplicate QMS and ISO documentation
A Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Management, Engineering or Quality Management plus 5 years quality assurance experience a plus. A high aptitude in process flow, PPAP and continuous improvement/Lean systems such as Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen is required. Must be able to travel occasionally. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, motivational, leadership, problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
