The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in Construction Management. The position will be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor level commencing Fall 2019.
Section II: Responsibilities
Reports to: Chairman of Civil & Environmental Engineering Department
Teach graduate (MS level) courses in construction management, as well as civil engineering courses at the undergraduate level. In addition, the candidate will be expected to engage in service activities on campus and with off-campus engineering groups. Section III: Qualifications
Qualifications: Applicants must have a doctoral or a masters degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Construction Management, and demonstrated professional experience in construction management is required. Additional requirements are an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and a professional engineering license or the ability to become licensed within a reasonable period of time.
Candidates will be evaluated on the above criteria as well as their academic background, professional experience, communication skills, and potential for excellence in teaching, professional activity, and service to the college.
