The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry invites applications for an academic-year, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in its Construction Management program. The area of specialization should complement and expand upon current departmental strengths in construction management.
The Department of Forest and Natural Resources Management seeks teacher-scholars committed to excellence in both teaching and research. Teaching responsibilities will include two undergraduate courses required for the current construction management major in one of the following areas (Cost Engineering, Contracts and Specifications, Site Investigations-Geotechnical related, Statics and Mechanics, Mechanical/Electrical (MEP), Structures and/or Construction Temporary Structures ), as well as a graduate level Construction Management course(s) in the candidate's area of expertise. Responsibilities include advising and mentoring undergraduate students in the Construction Management Program, and mentoring graduate students at the Masters and Doctoral level.
