The Structural Design Lead adds value by taking ownership of projects, being empathetic and approachable to clients and fellow team members and implementing design that meets our high quality standards. The engineer shall strive to consistently improve the end product and service by engaging and utilizing the strengths of all team members.
Responsible for and actively involved in aspects of structural engineering projects - plan, schedule, design, coordination, review, and construction administration phase.
Participate in Client/Contractor meetings and resolve technical project issues.
Ensure effective communication within the office and with Clients.
Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
Project related administrative duties such as budget monitoring, review of timesheets and expenses and trend tracking.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Structural emphasis). Master degree is not required but is preferred.
4+ years of engineering experience in structural design.
Experiences in various materials in architecturally driven design are a plus.
Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:
Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
Autodesk Revit experience required. RAM and Risa experience preferred.
