You will be managing all products and services related to structural health monitoring (SHM) with respect to the successful tendering of these products and services, as well as ensuring the proper execution of such projects. On top of that you will further develop products and services together with your team and external partners, which includes defining a long-term strategy together with top management as well as its implementation.
Offer management (preparation and follow up) and project management of awarded projects, together with the responsible Area Managers.
Team management of SHM technical team in Switzerland, and coordination with the SHM team in the United States, India and China.
SHM supply chain management including product management, managing relationship with partners, suppliers, engineers and universities.
Conceptual organization and coordination of group-wide trainings, presentations and other marketing activities related to SHM
Development, improvement and implementation of processes, templates and other material required for the successful execution of SHM projects
Support international subsidiaries in offers, projects and general business development for SHM applications world-wide.
Further development of business strategies, implementation of initiatives and reporting of strategic business development to the general management board
Degree in Civil Engineering (FH, ETH, TU) with further education or experience in structural health monitoring (a Master or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering with a focus on Structural Health Monitoring is a plus).
Entrepreneurial, self-organised, proactive and well-structured professional.
Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in a similar position (Structural Health Monitoring of bridges, buildings, oil platform, etc.).
Full proficiency in English (spoken and written), other languages (especially German) is a plus.
Advanced IT application skills (strong working knowledge of Data Acquisition systems, Signal Conditioning Units, Sensor Technologies and Data Analysis is important).
Outstanding organizational skills.
Experience in dealing with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Strong aptitude in taking ownership and problem-solving.
Willingness to undertake business trips. Travel approximately 10% of the time.
