WHAT YOU WILL DOING
- Identify and pursue target projects in heavy civil and social infrastructure projects - Lead the set-up of consortia with third-party construction and engineering firms, to bid for heavy civil and social infrastructure projects - Define, negotiate and close commercial agreements, inc MoUs and Teaming Agreements with engineering and construction firms - Lead Sacyr’s bid & proposal presentation strategy (e.g. responses to RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, goals, Sacyr’s value proposition, etc) - Lead internal business development meetings (i.e. presenting Sacyr’s project pipeline and updated status to all stakeholders) - Participate in internal project meetings to be aware of operational issues associated with our projects. - Gain feedback from owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers - Develop and implement a benchmarking process to measure Sacyr’s performance against competitors - Represent Sacyr at relevant conferences, conventions, trade shows, and industry award events. - Socialize Sacyr’s information with clients, business associations and communities in an effective, consistent and timely manner. - Participate in a leadership role in industry organizations to enhance Sacyr’s position and image.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience Required - Civil & Social Construction Business Development / Sales experience - Experience in Southeast region, with visibility and credibility in the market place - Challenging, complex infrastructure projects Desired: - Construction / engineering companies
Education Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge Required: - Strong knowledge of the industry and Florida market; - Wide network and knowledge of construction and engineering firms - Knowledgeable about multiple procurement types (DBB, DB, DBF, DBFM, DBFOM)
Skills - Capacity to effectively interact with and sell to multiple organizational stakeholders and varying levels of seniority
