Our Environmental Planning and Natural Resources groups are seeking a senior-level environmental professional to join one of our Pennsylvania offices (Harrisburg, York, Allentown, or King of Prussia). Candidates must be extremely motivated and committed to a consultant career track with project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have established agency/client relationships with Pennsylvania transportation agencies, business development capabilities, project management experience, and staff mentoring capabilities. A solid understanding of Federal and state agency regulation, policy, procedures, and guidance is required.
The role will include a mix of office time and field time for conducting resource assessments, report-writing, document review, client interaction, agency coordination, state and federal permitting, and collaboration with others.
Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, environmental planning, or related field;
Undergraduate/graduate curriculum that emphasizes natural resource, socioeconomic resource, cultural resource, environmental policy, environmental planning, or other closely related disciplines;
Approximately 15 to 20 years relevant experience;
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations such as NEPA, Section 106, Section 404, Section 4(f), Section 7, and Environmental Justice;
Experienced in resource permitting and agency consultation/coordination;
Exceptional research and problem solving abilities;
Outstanding written and oral communication skills;
Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
Fluency with Microsoft Office applications;
Accomplished project management skills; and
Focus on client satisfaction.
